NHS Dental Care
We offer a comprehensive range of NHS treatment to all our registered NHS patients. There are some treatments, particularly cosmetic dentistry, that are not available on the NHS but we can provide these privately. As an NHS patient you can have a part NHS part private treatment plan - just ask your dentist for advice.
At your check-up appointment your dentist will discuss the various treatment options and you will be provided with a treatment plan and the estimated cost. NHS prices are divided into three bands depending on the complexity of the treatment:
Band 1 is for simple treatment such as a check-up, clean & x-rays. Fillings are not included in this Band
The cost of Band 1 treatment is £20.60
Band 2 is for more complex treatments such as fillings & endodontic (root) treatment. Any Band 1 treatment carried out within a Band 2 treatment plan is covered in the cost.
The cost of Band 2 treatment is £56.30
Band 3 is for the most complex treatments such as crown & bridge work and dentures. Any Band 1 or 2 treatment carried out within a Band 3 treatment plan is covered in the cost.
The cost of Band 3 treatment is £244.30
Prices are correct as from April 1st 2017
Please note that treatment must be paid for at the time it is carried out - we offer no credit facilities. We accept cash and debit cards but NOT credit cards. Your estimate will give you the cost of treatment and any change to this will have been discussed with you.
